The December Release is bringing new updates that make your proofreading seamless from start to finish.

Re-inspect differences in a click, crop and inspect multiple zones at once, upgrade your barcode checks - all with complete ease.

Updates include:

• Multi-Crop Per Page: Perform multiple crops on a single page, no need for repeated inspections. Crop and capture all areas of interest efficiently.

• AI Powered QR Code Checks: Our new Resolved URL Status parameter intelligently traces each QR code to its end URL and verifies that the content aligns with the label, catching issues before they reach your customers.

• Human Readable Value (HRV) Check for Barcodes: This new feature checks the Human Readable text beneath a barcode against the barcode’s decoded value, ensuring both values match for complete accuracy. Only valid for linear 1D barcodes.

• Re-Inspect Differences: Quickly rerun comparisons on reviewer selected areas within a file set to resolve mismatches without reprocessing the entire document. Perfect for complex layouts or formatting inconsistencies.

• Figma PDF File Support: Support for Figma PDFs through text extraction allowing design teams to review Figma exports faster. Design teams and agencies can now inspect Figma exports with increased reliability.

• Flashing for Markups: A visual flashing effect highlights reviewer created markups, helping you instantly locate and confirm differences, especially useful when checking logos, symbols, or other embedded graphics.

• Transparent Overprint for Graphics: Overlay images with transparency for a single, accurate view of layers. Compare positioning and color relationships with confidence and ensure print readiness.

• Page-by-Page View Toggle: A new display option that lets you view documents one page at a time instead of using continuous scroll. This allows for a more controlled, focused inspection experience, perfect for large files or detailed reviews.

• Report Customization for Barcode Inspections: A refreshed barcode grading report with color coding, clearer icons, and improved readability. Spot grades at a glance and speed up decision-making.

• Custom Barcode Profile: Custom barcode profiles can now be tailored to your internal standards offering greater flexibility for organizations with unique compliance needs.

• New Project Search Bar: No more scrolling. Instantly locate the projects you need with a new search bar built for speed and clarity.

• Better Custom Profile Behavior: Graphics inspection profiles offer finer control over sensitivity settings, allowing more accurate detection of relevant differences and reducing false positives.

• Inspect More in One Go: You can now upload up to 20 files at once, doubling the previous limit of 10, making batch uploads quicker and more efficient.

Verify API Updates:

• beta Automated Layers and Separation Selection : Eliminates the friction of customer-to-prepress artwork comparisons due to mismatched or missing layers and separations.

• Review Results in the Verify User Interface: Users can now interact with Verify API Inspection Results in the Verify UI.

For Verify Enterprise customers with specific regulatory and validation needs who require time to test new features before they are made available to users, GlobalVision offers two additional environments:

• Validation Production 

• Validation Sandbox

Note: Validation tracks pertain to a limited group of users. Most users are on the Main Production Environment (GA) and will receive updates accordingly without delay.

Bug Fixes

• While any Text Zone / Marquee Zone is present in the file, crops can now be deleted

• When difference types are filtered out upon loading, they no longer cause other Differences to disappear when filtered back in

• Verify no longer is returning 4% on both L&R Quiet Zone for codes

• Grayscale is now applied to New Files in Graphics Flash Mode

• Deleting Marquee Zones no longer causes Sample Text Zones to disappear

• The "No Barcode/Braille" message is no longer displayed when a user navigates back to prep and selects Barcode/Braille

• Files now display correct colors when Overprint=ON

Known Issues

• Annotations can be deleted after using Crop/Marquee tools

• For embedded images, X marker position does not persist after moving

• On the summary report, excluded Change differences may appear as two separate entries with the same label instead of a single combined total

• Disallow switching prep tools while unmatched Marquee Zone present
