Verify

2024.3

Release date: 4th September 2024

Our latest version introduces Graphics Compare 2.0 and AI Spell Check.

New features & improvements include:

Graphic Compare 2.0

  • The new crop tool tells Verify which area to inspect with a single click, drag, and drop. It now works on all inspection types and you can apply the crop to all pages in prep.

  • New default sensitivity setting is optimized for the most pertinent details of your graphics comparison. Increase the sensitivity for finer precision.

  • Our improved matching technology allows pages to be successfully matched together more frequently, and results are delivered with minimal false positives.

  • Multi-page documents are now processed in parallel regardless of page count by leveraging the power of cloud-processing.

  • ‘Flash mode’ now loads significantly faster.

  • Differences are now displayed on the source document as well as the new one.

  • Difference cards are now exposed and displayed individually.

AI Spell Check

  • AI Spell Check allows you to easily filter results by categorizing words into four types

    • Abbreviations

    • Proper nouns

    • Alphanumeric words

    • General spelling errors

  • The Smart Discard pile are suggested words for your dictionary that help reduce your overall difference count and enhance future inspections.

Bug Fixes

  • OCR no longer gets rid of sections of live text

  • Tenant invitation emails are now able to be sent to addresses that contain uppercase characters

  • The Insertion/Deletion placeholder is now displayed at the correct location

  • Right-to-Left OCR extracted text is no longer shifted

  • Hyphenated words containing an invalid sub-word are now being flagged as spelling differences

  • Clicking the difference box of a grouped difference now triggers the corresponding difference card to be selected

  • Overprint now set to ON by default for all files uploaded in Verify

Known Issues

  • ‘Hamza’ Character not properly extracted in Arabic OCR

  • Occasionally, some differences that should be grouped together are treated as individual difference cards

  • Verify crashes when doing text compare with large number of cross-outs
