The Winter Release focuses on new features and improvements designed to elevate and accelerate the user experience such as a new approval workflow for custom dictionary, the ability to manage spot colors, and revamped filtering options.

  • Asian and Right-to-Left Language Text Inspection accuracy improvements

  • A revamped UI in the Prep Stage and Filtering Tool in the Results Stage

  • UX improvements, including the Graphics Inspection functionality now capturing Live Text Differences in red boxes

  • A significant reduction in unwanted Spell Check Results

  • Refined and optimized Optical Character Recognition (OCR) for Focus Group users

Bug Fixes

  • The correct difference card is now shown when clicking on grouped differences

  • Inspections in ‘Proofreader Mode’ which have been prepped but not executed can now be fetched from the ‘Recent Sessions' list on the homepage

  • The ‘Show Live Text’ function in Settings now remains active when a Graphics different is selected

  • Text outside of Text Zones are no longer being inspected; only the content of the Text Zones are being inspected as expected

  • The Ignore Text tool is now available as long as at least one of the uploaded files contains live text

Known Issues

New

  • The 'Restore All' button is not available for Discarded items panel view

  • There are sometimes rasterization delays for large files when zooming in or out of the file

  • Disabled Spot Colors are restored and visible when viewing Graphics inspection results in ‘flash mode’

  • In Proofread Mode, the Spell Check checkbox is unchecked by default, however, the Inspect button is still clickable and a Spell Check is performed on the file when clicked

From 2023.5.1

  • Slight naming issue in the Library for files that have undergone OCR

  • File names containing Asian characters do not display on Summary Reports

  • The crosshair icon overall crop box is slightly offset when creating a graphics zone
