5.8+

Summary: The GVD 5.8+ “About” window no longer displays the licensed/enabled modules. It now displays as licensed/enabled bundles and add-ons.

Before GVD 5.7.1, the “About” window displays all licensed modules:

After GVD 5.8+, the “About” window displays as bundles and add-ons.

There are 2 types of bundles:

  • “Print” includes Print, Graphics, and Barcode inspections.

  • “Digital” includes Graphics, Barcode, Braille, Text, and Spelling inspections.

Note that if 1 item is missing on a bundle, the bundle will not appear in the “About” window. For example, if a license was provided with Graphics, Barcode, Text, and Spelling but no Barcode, “Digital” will not appear as a bundle:

How to check what modules are licensed for GVD 5.8.X:

  1. Select Menu>Administrator>User Manager

2. The license information will display where 0 means that the seat/add-on is not enabled and 1+ means that it is enabled. Note for GVD 5.8.X, a “Seat” is equal to Digital Bundle which includes Graphics, Barcode, Braille, Text, and Spelling.

In the below example, Digital Bundle and Print are enabled without Digimarc and Color:

How to check what modules are licensed for GVD 5.9+:

  1. Select Menu>Administrator>User Manager

2. The license information will display where OFF means that the module/add-on is not enabled and ON means that it is enabled.

In the below example, the Print bundle (Includes Print, Graphics, and Barcode inspections) is enabled with Text, Spelling, and Compliance. Notice that the “Digital” bundle does not appear in the “About” window because Barcode and Braille are not licensed.
