4.2 Release Notes

Release date: July 14th, 2023

GVW 4.2 focuses on partner integration features using REST API, with technical upgrades for smoother operation and various bug fixes, primarily for text and graphics modules.

New Features

The below features are included in the REST API integration enhancements:

• Launching inspections & sending files to partner’s AMS,

• Managing notes deletion,

• Possibility to see related inspections in a side panel.

Known Issues

• The flashing mode for repeats is slightly shifted.

Bug Fixes

The following issues were addressed in the release:

• Ability to upload multiple and reorder files from multiple locations,

• Random Zero Differences,

• Random no difference found" when using "Underline" tool-Text Inspection,

• Text Inspection results Zero difference if "Location" is unchecked from Difference Parameter,

• Open Flash Page" Zoom window does not adjust when zooming in,

• Color picker is not working for some users,

• Hide Differences and Disable Flash options are not maintained/saved after toggling On or Off,

• Scanned OCR'd files are not working on APP,

• Some Spell Check Inspections Fail,

• Highlight Background Color of Pages highlighted in the start menu is too light and not visible to many users.
