4.0 Release Notes

GVW 4.0 provides a major change in both the looks and functionality within the new design of GVW. The new functionalities aimed at improving customer experience through varied new functions across all modules, with enhanced looks and supporting easier navigation amongst identified differences.
New Features
New modern look with a fully revamped user interface & experience,
Robust layers & separations detection and management,
Simplified & synced navigation of flashing graphics differences,
Possibility to turn flashing of differences on/off in graphics module,
Seamless reports navigation with powerful filtering and searching capabilities,
Users now can have an unlimited number of reports,
New intuitive colour picker and measurement tools,
New QRD Templates functionality was introduced,
Possibility to opt-out of email notifications,
New, easier reloading of files for inspections; when a wrong file was uploaded for inspection,
Bulk editing possibility for identified differences using checkboxes,
Difference Grid and Difference List can now be collapsed, and the viewer preference will be saved on the user's profile,
Spelling suggestions were introduced for spelling results,
Highlighting failing overall grades and parameters in red in barcode inspections,
Bird's eye view for Barcode and Braille inspection results tables, in addition to the possibility of adding levels of criticality and comments to each detection in the results tables.
Improvements
Improved barcode grading system,
Enhanced text zone handling possibilities by adding the option to add a new text zone to any existing zone,
Improved syncing for overprint parameters settings across the start menu and the inspection panels,
Enhanced Right-To-Left languages inspection,
Enhanced navigational possibilities through identified differences by the screen arrows, up & down keyboard arrows, mouse selection or by clicking the difference on the file.
