RCount v1.0

Release date: 13th July 2022

This release introduces a new system combining industrial imaging cameras with intelligent counting software, enabling users to count inserts, folded cartons, and vials.

This updated system features enhanced optics, an improved codebase with advanced counting techniques, modern licensing methods, and a flexible framework for future industrial counting applications.

New Features & Improvements

• Implemented the RVision Core Module which provides the following functionalities:

  • Local Application Settings

  • Crash Reporting

  • Application log

  • Camera Interface

  • Licensing

• Added Item Counting application that allows users to count inserts, Vials, pills, etc.

Bug Fixes

• RCount no longer crashes when exiting the application

• Counting now works on standard samples

• Total insert counts now equal the count per row

• The login screen username field is now active

• RCount no longer crashes when turning on Hi-contrast view

• RCount no longer crashes when the lens is covered

• Comments now appear on the detail count report

• Vial counting now works on loaded images

• Counting is now possible on static images

• Hi-Contrast image settings no longer affect counting
