GVD V5.7.1 cannot detect Braille on a multipage master file

Issue: I have a multipage master file that contains braille on the second. When I try to run a Braille Inspection Digital to Digital comparison with the second page selected, I get the error “Failed to detect a suitable Braille region. Please verify that the proper standards and guidelines are followed…”

Diagnosing:

The inspection will work if the first page of the multi-page master contains braille because the software is only checking the first page for braille regardless of what page you have selected.

Workaround: This is a known issue that is resolved in the latest GVD. In the meantime, the workaround is to recreate the file so that the first page contains the braille to inspect.
