Account has been locked out

Problem

A local GlobalVision Desktop account has been locked out due to a forgotten password.


Solution

You will need an account with administrator-level access.


Steps:

  1. Log into GlobalVision desktop with the administrator-level account

  2. Click File Folder icon As of GlobalVision Desktop 5.3, instead of clicking the File Folder icon, click the Menu button found at the top right of the GlobalVision Desktop window:

  3. Select Administration, from the slide-out menu, select User Maintenance, you will be presented with the following window

Note:  If there is no other account, or you lack an account with administrator access please contact your administrator or email SUPPORT@GLOBALVISION.CO with the following information:

  • Your name

  • Your company name

  • Email address

  • Phone number

4. Once the email has been received, a member of GlobalVision's support team will arrange a time with you, to establish a remote session to regain access to the administrator account.
