Q: Can I use the same files to run another inspection in a different inspection module?

A: Yes, use the Quick Switch to use the same files you’re looking at to run a different type of inspection, provided your profile is setup with that available module.

Q: Can I see annotations on embedded into my PDF?

A: Yes, after an inspection click the Master Annotation List button to view them.

Q: Can I download multiple reports at the same time?

A: Yes, on the home screen choose any previously run inspections and click the icon.


Q: How do I know what Reading Order to select when doing a Text Inspection?

A: High is for unlike file documents and file formats. Example: 10 page Word document vs a 1 page PDF

Medium is for files with repetitive text

Low is for revision files with the same number of pages and flow of text

Q: How can I view the audit trail?

A: Only a System Administrator can view the audit trail by clicking on  and View Audit Trail.

Q: Can I set default Levels and Comments

A: Only a System Administrator can set them. If you are on our public servers or we cannot set them as changes will affect all other users.

Q: Can I share reports with others?

A: Yes, when viewing a report, click the icon and type in someone’s email address to share the report. The person you are sending the report to needs to have access to GlobalVision Web to view the report as they will receive an email with a link to access.

Q: Can I change my own password?

A: Yes, once logged in, click on  and you can view the details of your account and change your password.
