Step 2: Turn Off Layers and Separations

In PDF documents, layers are used to organize content that can be shown or hidden. Sometimes, to align Master and Sample files closely visually, it may be necessary to deactivate certain layers and/or separations.

To manage layers, simply click the PDF Options button located at the top of either the Master or Sample panel.

You can control the visibility of each layer or separation by toggling the eye icon next to it, turning it on or off accordingly.

It is a good practice to assign each element of the artwork its own layer or separation in PDF files.

Please note that you cannot toggle layers and separations on or off using the eye icon in flattened files.
