No Scanner Detected Error

Question: While I was trying to select a scanner from the GVD application, I received an error message. What do I do? Error message:

There are no scanners attached to this system.

Answer:

While this is a fairly uncommon error to encounter, if it does, in fact, occur, some recommended first steps are:

  1. Confirm if the scanner is actually powered on.

  2. Confirm if the scanner is appropriately connected to the network.
