How can I extract a shape from my Master file in GlobalVision Desktop?
Answer: When you load a PDF or AI file, the PDF Viewer will launch, displaying the available layers options or separations in their corresponding side panels.
Right-click on the desired layer/ separation to extract as a shape and the sub-menu displays.
Click to select an option:
Set shape as region & hide: The layer or separation will be detected as a shape and will be hidden when the image is loaded into the Master/ Sample panel (with the shape outlined).
Note: Only one layer or separation can be used for shape extraction at a time. The selected layer or separation will be underlined in its corresponding panel in the integrated PDF viewer.
b. Use as shape region: The layer or separation will be detected as a shape. The image will load into the Master/ Sample panel with the shape outlined. The layer or separation will not be hidden.
