The GVD 5.13.1 patch release focuses on stability and robustness. It fixes several bugs related to Barcode, Graphics, and Text Inspections.

Updates

  • Pantone color libraries have been updated for the following scanners: Context IQ Flex, SD One 44MF, Microtek LS-4600, and Context HD UltraX 4250.

Bug Fixes

  • Repeat detection values now remain consistent when modifying or creating new Graphics Profiles

  • Values on the repeat detection Slider Interface for Graphics Profiles are now tracking as expected

  • Eliminated duplicate entries for a single event in the Audit Trail

  • Inspection graphics event now appears in the audit trail when running a Graphics Inspection that has repeats

  • Live text no longer shows when associated layers are deactivated

  • The zoom level now remains after creating a zone

  • Custom comments issue in Difference Details has been resolved

  • Master scan now displays the correct DPI value upon uploading

  • The accurate GS1 Databar is now being detected

  • Certain specific .tif files are now displaying properly

  • Certain specific files with Barcode ITF-14/SCC codes are now being detected

  • LDAP authentication now uses secured port 636

  • The information under Layers and Separation is no longer being removed for a specific customer

  • Quiet Zone calculations for ITF-14 code has been resolved

  • Quiet Zone now passes on QR codes

  • Differences now listed when Zoning Tool is used for larger files

  • The Master Checkbox in the Report options does not uncheck after every report generation

  • Delta E tolerance does not reset when the application is closed

  • Error resolved when using Electronic Signature with users logging in with LDAP connections

  • Difference list can now be navigated with keyboard arrows after adding a comment

Known Issues

  • Overlapping text on inspection reports when dealing with long scanner names

  • Overlapping text on barcode inspection reports for some inspections

  • The audit trail search functionality doesn't automatically show results until 'Next 100' is clicked
