5.13.0 PC

GVD 5.13 release focuses on stability and robustness. The aim is strengthening the overall performance of the software and maintaining the base operations with an increased speed and reliability.

Updates & Improvements

This release mostly focuses on various bugs and crash fixes, efficiency upgrades and performance improvements. The targeted areas are:

  • Performance improvements,

  • Overall stability improvements,

  • Major PostgreSQL update to version 16,

  • Upgrade of dependencies,

  • Pantone color libraries have been updated for the following scanners: Context IQ Flex, SD One 44MF and Microtek LS-4600.

Bug Fixes

  • Text zoning deletion and correction issue has been resolved.

  • File icons have been reinstated in the results panel for certain Color and Graphics inspections.

  • Scale & Shift anchor points are now properly aligned when dealing with files that have a major size difference.

  • Braille Inspection is now listed in the inspections panel after performing a ‘Multi-inspection’.

  • All settings are now editable for custom Graphics profiles.

  • All Audit Trail Events are now sized appropriately by default for complete visibility.

  • The ESC key function has been restored for removing crop selections.

Known Issues

  • Jumbled text on Barcode inspection reports:

    • Decoded value runs over the footer of the document

    • Scanner name overlaps the Product ID information

  • Repeat detection values are changed when modifying or creating a graphics profile

  • The audit trail doesn't find the results in the first 100 pages.
