Can a User Login with a Colleague's GlobalVision Web ID if They Are Absent?

Summary: Activating a replacement user's GlobalVision Web ID

No, it is not suggested that a replacement user log in to GlobalVision Web with an absent colleague's credentials. IDs are tracked and audited, meaning it would be ideal for the replacement user to log in with their own.

It is suggested that a manager take the following steps to enable the replacement user to log in to GlobalVision Web:

  • Send an email to GlobalVision Support (support@globalvisioninc.com) with the names and email addresses of the user going on leave (or vacation, etc.) and the replacement user.

  • GlobalVision Support will de-activate the first user ID and activate the replacement one.

  • Upon the initial user's return, repeat the process so GlobalVision support can re-activate their ID (and de-activate the replacement one).
