How to Fix Bleeding Through for EPSON DS-50000

Problem:

It is possible that the booklet used is too thin and the scanner catches the other side of the paper, this is also known as “bleeding through”. See example:



Resolution:

However, the customer uses the scanner EPSON DS-50000. A good suggestion is to fix the “bleeding through” of the scanner instead. 

There is a feature called histogram adjustment. The 3 triangles are sliders that you can adjust to darken or lighten the image. You can also save the changes. By selecting “save” on the main page, then give your profile a name, like inserts for example. That way, the paper will not show the other side and fix the possible unwanted errors on our GlobalVision software.

By performing those settings, the scanner will not scan the other side of the paper (the bleeding through will be avoided) and therefore, GVD will not catch those errors.
