How come my color-calibrated IQ Flex scanner is not detecting Pantone colors?

Issue: We purchased a new IQ Flex scanner in 2022 (or later). We want our GVD application to detect Pantone colors using the new scanner. How come our delta measurements are above 3.5 and sometimes the Pantone color is not even being detected at all even though it is color calibrated?

Resolution: The IQ Flex requires specific scanner software versions, a color library, and a custom ICC profile. IQ Flex scanners purchased before 2022 have different setting requirements to respect than scanners purchased after 2022.
