GVD Admin Feature - Debug Mode

What Does This Feature Do? 

Running in Debug Mode is the equivalent of running an inspection with Difference Grouping set to 1 pixel. The software will display all the 1 pixel differences detected and will specify under the Differences Found panel how the differences were detected: Text Low, Text High, Artwork Low, Artwork High, etc. 


Why Use this Feature? 

Use the Debug Mode when you need help understanding how the software detects the Graphics differences and figure out what settings need to be adjusted in order to stop detecting unwanted differences. Note: This feature is for advanced users.


When To Use It

  • When you want to have a better idea which of the 4 profile settings need to be modified to improve inspection results.


Expert Tips

  • You can turn on Debug Mode at any stage of the inspection process.

  • Only advanced users with a strong understanding of the Graphics Profile settings should be the ones creating custom profiles.

  • Adjusting settings can compromise the inspection as it could lead to missed differences, contact support if you are unsure of your adjustments.

  • Running Debug Mode can be overwhelming as the inspection is happening with Difference Grouping set to 1 pixel.
