AutoVal - Site Prep Guide

This document contains the steps required to prepare the Customer Environment and make sure it is ready for AutoVal execution ✅

By following the steps described below, we ensure to:

(tick) Verify that remote access can be established from GlobalVision PC to the customer’s PC using Zoom,

(tick) Verify that the AutoVal program can be executed on the customer’s PC through a remote connection.



Requirements for Successful AutoVal Execution

Zoom

Please make sure that Zoom is installed for executing AutoVal through remote access.

The connection will be tested to ensure connection is available between the GlobalVision and the customer’s PC.

Local Admin Access

Please make sure that Administrator rights are available on the PC, such that remote access and program installation/execution may be performed properly during AutoVal setup and testing.

Please ensure Administrator rights are available for the machine as the testing process requires admin access.

GVD is installed for the version that should be tested

GVD will be installed in the chosen location.

AutoVal app is installed for the version that should be tested

Please be aware that the AutoVal running tool will be installed on the PC.

Adobe Acrobat Reader

Please make sure that Adobe Acrobat Reader is the main PDF editor.

Notifications

Please make sure that notifications are disabled for the duration of AutoVal testing.

Background Apps

Please make sure that background applications and processes are disabled for the duration of AutoVal testing.

Please ensure especially AntiVirus applications are limited/paused in their background processing and UAC (User Access Control) is disabled, as we have encountered issues while running AutoVal when such applications are active.

Screen, Resolution, Layout Settings

Please be aware that Screen, Resolution, and Layout settings might be changed temporarily for the duration of AutoVal testing.

Screen resolution needs to be set to 1920x1080 for optimal AutoVal execution.
