Why are too many Graphics Inspection differences detected?

Answer: Editing layers in GlobalVision Desktop to limit detected differences.

Before starting a graphics inspection in GlobalVision Desktop, the loaded PDFs/ Adobe Illustrator files can be altered to ensure the two files match. This is done in the integrated PDF Viewer which is accessed by clicking the PDF Options button at the top of either the Master or Sample panel.

The PDF Viewer lets you control what is visible in the file during the inspection. Toggle an element on/ off by clicking on the "eye" symbols next to the layer/ separation.

It is recommended to use a file with easily removable content. Whatever is not removable (dielines, numbers, title boxes, etc.) will be flagged as false positives.
